Kasteelberg Bistro has been the setting for many weddings and special “milestone” birthdays over the years. Why not let us give you a quote for your special day? We specialize in smaller, more intimate weddings (such as the 2nd or even the 3rd time round!) and the many guests that have celebrated their 40th, 50th, 60th and even 80th birthdays at Kasteelberg have raved about the setting and the way we do things: casually but professionally.
We’re also a favourite venue for the many motoring clubs in the Western Cape, who regularly drive the easy 87km’s from Cape Town to come enjoy a leisurely lunch (some slightly more liquid than others!). Small corporate groups have also discovered the easy and relatively inexpensive way to recharge their batteries: a day at Kasteelberg Inn! End-of-year lunches usually end up being fairly boisterous but always festive affairs!

The crispy pork belly with caramelized red cabbage & apple, served with a mustard & white wine sauce is relished amongst foodies as one of the best. Phone ahead to ensure we still have availability!
Our Springbok shank with rich red wine gravy is really only available in winter. It is always extremely popular and it might be a good idea to reserve yours when you book!
Another perennial classic now on the menu is Züricher Geschnetzeltes; thin strips of tender beef in a creamy mushroom sauce, served with rösti.
Don’t neglect your sweet tooth! Not that our famous carrot cake is all that sweet, but it does count as a dessert! It is, however, VERY moist, VERY nutty and VERY yummy!! It’s back on the menu for a while so come give it a try.
Every week, our fresh fish choices normally include the always popular kingklip but when available we also offer kabeljou, blue fish, dorado & swordfish.
